We are seeking a Senior Researcher with a strong background in Data Driven Health, to help us expand our capabilities in advancing human health through innovative, data-centric approaches.
Key responsibilities
Acquire, lead and contribute to research projects focused on uncovering data-driven insights for health solutions.
Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee ethical approval processes for new cohorts, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate with business developers to communicate effectively with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders regarding ongoing projects and product-related matters.
Liaise with diverse stakeholders, from cross-functional team members to external partners, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration.
Develop creative strategies for complex biological and technological challenges, leveraging deep analytical thinking and a broad understanding of human health and disease.
Serve as an internal expert, guiding junior team members and shaping best practices in data-driven research methods.
Translate research findings into product-focused outputs, continually seeking ways to make our scientific insights actionable in real-world healthcare contexts.
You have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
You have industry experience (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare) working as a Data Scientist, Computational Biologist, or similar.
You have hands-on project management experience, including the ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
You have experience interacting with stakeholders—including senior leadership and external clients—and managing relationships effectively.
Demonstrated knowledge of human health and disease across different therapeutic areas or research focuses.
Consulting experience in pharmaceutical development is highly desirable.
You have exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to convey complex scientific topics to a broad audience.
You have a creative mindset for finding novel solutions in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments and a product-oriented outlook with the ability to translate research insights into actionable, clinically relevant applications.

We work 'activity-based', our activities bring us to our location. Our headquarter, and base location for this role, is in Mol. Part-time working from home or a satellite office in Antwerp-Berchem, Genk, Leuven, Ghent or Ostend is possible.
