As a Full Stack Angular Developer, you will collaborate on projects that are in the realm of data distribution, on-demand image processing on large and scalable platforms and Big Data analytics to extract information from satellite and airborne (UAV, drones) data where these datasets are growing enormously fast in size (from terabytes to petabytes). Today, the resulting information is offered to our end users via various user-friendly online applications.

Your tasks: 

  • You are part of an agile, multidisciplinary team where business needs in the field of IT and earth observation are constantly evolving.
  • You contribute to application maintenance (migrations, etc.) and write automated tests.
  • You make analyses of various technical solutions and report on them.
  • You also analyse and solve reported bugs.
  • You play a crucial role in the design and development of online applications (front-end) and related backend systems.
  • You broaden your technical knowledge by studying new, relevant technologies.

Job requirements

  • You have a Master's degree with a clear focus on IT (applied IT, Industrial Sciences, IT, etc.) or equivalent through experience in a complex IT environment.
  • You have an excellent command of English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • You excel in designing and developing Angular applications or API-based backend applications in at least one of the following programming languages: Java or NodeJS.
  • The following technical qualifications are a plus, such as experience with Git, REST APIs, Linux native environments.
